Billy Idol came to fame as the snarling, lip curling lead singer of the 70's Punk band Generation X, before going on to have a very successful solo career, both in the UK and across the pond in the USA.
His musical style has changed greatly from the 'Gen X' days, with some of his biggest hits being ballads such as 'Eyes Without a Face' and the haunting 'Sweet Sixteen'.
Still touring and performing today although a very serious motorcycle crash nearly put paid to the 'Rebels' career.
