Black Devil

Real Name:
Bernard Fevre
Profile:
Originally released in 1978, Black Devil's "Disco Club" is an extremely rare disco masterpiece, an epic journey into the deepest electronic disco.
The record is credited to Junior Claristidge and Joachim Sherylee, pseudonyms of two french library writers Bernard Fevre and Jacky Giordano, respectively. It was made manually in a recording studio in the suburbs of Paris using synths and occasional tape loops and a drummer. No midi or computers.
According to an interview given by Bernard Fevre in January 2007, Jacky Giordano only financed the recording sessions. His being credited as co-composer was just a deal for recouping his financial investment.

Bernard Fevre came back with a new opus in 2006 under the guise of Black Devil Disco Club although some remixed versions taken from this second album were released under the original Black Devil monicker by the same label.

Reviews & Discussion

Review by norfolk Jun 01, 2011
This record is a JOKE. As are all the French Library Releases. How do we know? Black women did not have Bat Wings in the seventies - this is a fact. The bat wings date this record as not 30 years in the past, but 30 years in the future, when we will all have started to grow bat wings and eat bat droppings. The two men pictured aren't from Black Devil Disco club either. They are the original members of Daft Punk, heavily aged due to drug induced sex sessions involving Negro bats. Yes I added to the bank balance originally, as did every other Muppet. Elaborate and post modern - this HOAX has only one victim - DJ MUST'AV.
