Blixa Bargeld (January 12, 1959, Berlin, Germany) is a German singer, a composer, a writer and an actor.
His pseudonym comes from German Dadaist painter Johannes Theodor Baargeld.
Bargeld is best known for co-founding in 1980 Einstürzende Neubauten and for his performances and studio works as the singer of the band.
From 1983 to 2003, Bargeld was a guitarist and backing vocalist in Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.
