Boogie Drama is a Milan based electronic music duo formed by Lele Sacchi and Sandiego.
Lele Sacchi is since a long time one of the leading figures of the italian underground club scene, globetrotting dj, head of world famous club Magazzini Generali and events like Elita festival; Sandiego is a music producer / dj who started off has a hip hop beatmaker and then went on the electronic music side with many collaborations and much success and also producing events under the People name.
After a few first attempts at production in 2002, the first big break came in 2004 with the single 'Stalker's Groove' on Hamburg's Was Not Was (the indipendent distribution giant Word And Sound's own label) which gave way for the big success of the following year single 'Love Riot' (under the Sacchi & Sandiego alias) on cult english house label 20:20 Vision. The followup on Was Not Was, the vocal dirty tech house track of 'Dancing in The Darkness', came in 2006 and was again amazingly received by top dj's, clubbers and alternative press. A series of remixes for super cool labels like Mood Music, Brique Rouge, Infant followed. Boogie Drama have remixed and being remixed by the likes of Planet Funk, Jon Tejada, Donnacha Costello, Sasse, Stylophonic, Thugfucker, Jona, Phonogenic and their tunes have been licensed on compilations like Global Underground and Steve Bug's Bugnology.
Sandiego has had successful solo releases on legendary minimal label Trapez as well.
In 2009 a series of great releases are coming from Boogie Drama with 'The Conspiracy' on Berlin's Mood Music in January, followed by a remix on Liebe*Detail and then a full 3 track ep named 'Magnetic Shore' on one of tech-house most succesful labels: Systematic.
