Bruno G. Aguire
Voices, rhythmical richness, abstract concepts and sounds, personality in the beats, micro melodies, chords, positive atmospheres... There’s a lot we could say about this passionate artist. During the beginnings of the 80’s, at a very young age, this fervent lover of black roots tunes began developing his interest about dance music.
Since then, he has cultuivated his passion for diversity of musical expression having taken part in a very large number of electronic background projects such as Bockors, the Bliss, Sigma7, Area, Mind Fluido, Peter Paul or Electrodrummers, and realizing and colaborating in several radio shows.
After his first encouner with a mic, a turntable, synths and other machines he’s been in constant evolution and learning, always keeping his characteristic cool and dark shades of funk and hip hop sounds, colouring his compositions with jazzy brushstrokes, broken beats, electrohouse and even rock.
After two essential albums like ‘Déjalo Así Bru’ (Freelastica, Satélite K) & ‘Homeself’ (Freelastica, Phonobox), or EPs for Irregular label (‘Mag Is In The Air’) or Phonobox (‘Formas’), etc… different productions for TV, documentaries like ‘El Fantasma de los Deseos’, ‘Fomento’, ‘Ikea’, ‘Casio Exilim Lab’ or ‘Pezqueñines’… Brunetto presents a third album titled ‘B+’, wich is another clear evolution in his career, this one could become one of the most serious and important electronic music albums ever created in Spain.
When we talk about Brunetto, we talk about one of the most outstanding spanish music producers and djs, either for his quality in the production or by his sets full of eclecticism, old vs. new skool, magic and a romantic flavour. Pure joy!
