Buckwild, a renowned Bronx Hiphop DJ switched to production when he met fellow Bronx bomber Lord Finesse.
He got major acclaim after only a couple of years of beatmaking when he produced most of O.C.'s "Word... Life" LP, most noteably the stupid fresh classic "Times Up". Buckwild has been a member of the Diggin In The Crates crew since he first showed up on the scene, and has produced tracks for all the crew's rappers. Buckwild has been in the shadow of the other D.I.T.C. producers Diamond D, Lord Finesse and Showbiz but as their output gets less essential, Buckwild keeps cranking out the classic beats. Highlights include Big L's "Put It On", Sadat X's "The Lump Lump", Biggie's "I got a story to tell" and the underground classic remix of "Cut that weak shit" by Lace Da Booms.
