Cécile Le Prado (1956) is a French composer, installation artist who studied electroacoustic composition at Nantes conservatory. Le Prado primarily works with environmental sounds in concerts and installations and she has worked, among places, at Groupe de recherches musicales (GRM) and Ircam.
Le Prado realized music for dance and cinema for Robert Cahen, Christian Boustani, Jean-Christophe Ballot, numerous sound installations and radioplays. She currently lives and works in Paris where teaches sound pedagogy at the Computer department for Training in video games and interactive media in Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (CNAM).
