Reviews & Discussion

Review by DJ_Defcon Nov 02, 2006 (edited over 5 years ago)
Canibus is- hands down- the greatest rapper I have ever heard. To quote him directly, “9 out of 10 of these rap artists is Garbage”. If that were true, Canibus is the one rapper that certainly isn’t garbage. This guy has an incredible flow to his rhymes, and writes lyrics that still maintain the traditional Hip-Hop style while at the same time are very intelligent. His best tracks are “Get Retarded”, a lyrical masterpiece with quality sampling and beats, and “Niggenometry”, which has a popular appeal but still contains thought-provoking words. Canibus has done freestyles with Eminem and collaboration tracks with Papoose and Wyclef Jean. Canibus is incredibly talented and every one of his tracks is worth listening to.
