Caroliner is one of the most original, yet underrated bands to come out of America in the last 15 years or so and probably closest musical relatives of Residents. Its hard to describe what's going on when you hear their records - there are warped voices, mumbling, various sound effects. Overall, the effect is akin to being inside of one of Salvador Dali paintings - weird, to say the least.
