It is suggested that he married Memphis Minnie.
Rest of his life is totally unknown, some people claims that he moved to Detroit and left the music world in the '60s, other people thinks that he was called up in 1941 in the forces and died in combat.
Another bluesman, Ted Bogan, said he met him in 1968 in Chicago.
