Celebrate The Nun

Profile:
In 1987 the Synthpop band Celebrate the Nun was founded by H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan, Britt Maxime and Slin Thompson. Their first single was "Ordinary Town" and was released on EMI (Germany) and was a hit. Their second single "Will You Be There" had much more success as it had reached number 4 on the USA Billboard-Club-Charts. More than 30,000 CD's had been sold in the United States. 1989 CtN delivered the full length LP Meanwhile on EMI (Germany) and Enigma (US/Canada). In 1990 Slin Thompson left CtN and started other projects. H.P., Rick and Britt recorded a second full length album on Westside (Germany), Continous, and disbanded. In 1993, H.P. Baxxter and Rick J. Jordan, along with H.P.'s cousin Ferris, founded the Happy Hardcore band Scooter. They asked Britte to join, but she declined, saying she wanted to make independent Pop music, not Techno.
