Chantay Savage is an R&B/dance singer who had some success in the 1990s, particularly with her version of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" - which was a #5 hit on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart, #12 in the UK, and also a radio hit in Japan, reaching #6 on the Tokio Hot 100. She is also known as one of the co-writers of Ce Ce Peniston's #1 Billboard dance hit "We Got a Love Thang".
