When Jan Wayne in January 2002 found the temperamental vocalist Charlene for his 2nd single, both didn’t knew that this connection was going to be that successful. Together with Charlene’s voice and the unique sound of Jan Wayne’s productions, the single "Because The Night" became a smash all around Europe in spring 2002. Side by side they climbed up to #4 in German sales charts and other European charts as well - #1 Netherlands, #14 UK and #3 Austria. After having done 2 album and 5 single releases Jan and Charlene decided to go separate ways. A lot of successful performances worldwide, a unique voice and an inimitable stage show made Charlene to a guarantee of a perfect event. She has established herself as singer of the Jan Wayne Live Show worldwide and is still remaining with her impressive live program on tour. In the studio, Charlene produced and sang for some selected projects, such as E-Rock "Like The Way I Do" but her first solo single release had to wait for quite a while.
