Merrick Hughes

Producer and drummer from Liverpool (UK). His career started in the late 1970s by producing Dalek I's "Compass Kum'pas". This led to joining Adam And The Ants both as drummer and producer in 1980 under the his alias Merrick and left them in 1982. From then he concentrated on producing, often sharing production credits with Ian Stanley. Between 1982 to 1989 he was a peripheral member of Tears For Fears.
