I highly encourage you to check out this artist. His work is very diverse and gives back a lot in multiple listens. He has truly unique music and approach to making music.

I saw his live set in San Francisco spring of 2009. Very inspiring improvisations and an amazing use of images with the sounds he creates.

My newest favourite. Innovative, yet timeless cut up melodic music. It's really a beautiful hybrid of analogue and digital worlds. I'm hearing more and more from these recordings on every listen. Really great stuff.
I heard he has a cd coming out on Fallt soon and something on Mille Plateaux.
