Vlad Cernea, Mihaela Cernea, Mihaela Florea and Florin Cojocaru formed in 1994, the band class. The band's name was chosen from a list of several names that sounded good in Romanian and English. Class was chosen because, besides the aforementioned criteria, may represent a studied dance with the class.
The first public appearance (and birthday group): 16 November 1994, Why Not, of freshmen at a prom, where they sang one song in the repertoire: Syncronise.
In 2001 Mihaela Florea left the group. She married and left her husband in Germany.
In February 2002, Anca Badiu replace Mihaela Florea.
In May 2006, Anca Badiu left CLASS for a solo career.
From 2008 CLASS entered into anonymity after lead singer Mihaela Cernea gave birth to two children.
