Reviews & Discussion

Review by one-world Jun 09, 2008
That other review is junk. It seems this person is not aware of the hits from this 'so-called' boy-band.

The biggest iconic song is "I Wanna Sex You Up" which had a 60's r&b flair to it. The next to hit was "I Adore Mi Amore" which got played to death and had an all-spanish version which was on a cassette single. The all-english version is on the Maxi single. Another hit with that 60's r&b flair was "All 4 Love". The UK would see "Heartbreaker" as a hit and that song received went on to get a club mix by Frankie Knuckles.

Beyond the debut album, the band had hits from "Time and Chance" including the title song and "Choose" which again received a club rendering from Pal Joey. Though this band's music career was a short one, it was beyond a "one-hit-wonder".

What's this doing here?! For those who don't know, Color Me Badd is an early ninties, one hit wonder boy band lacking talent in music and taste in clothes. Their style of music varied from R&B, Hip Hop to just plain cheap pop commercial music. (trash). Lock up your daughters!
