Control Z are a Nu Skool Breakz production duo hailing from London. Drum 'n' Bass DJ Dash (Tom Petais) cut his teeth in the Brighton club scene for several years before moving back to his home town of London where he hooked up with long-time breaks DJ Inch (Nicky D’Silva) through the Community Music Project. Having already collaborated with the Breakfastaz, The on the party anthem Test Press R.I.P. / Rowdy Time Inch was no stranger to production and introduced Dash to the world of breakbeat. Their first collaboration in the studio reflected their different musical backgrounds and the result was a genre busting fusion of drum 'n' bass and breakbeat. DJ Mutiny instantly recognized the pair’s prospects and signed them to his Funkatech label and began developing Control Z as artists.

The duo are rapidly becoming known for their energetic DJ sets which have rocked floors at nights such as Innovation, Raindance, Best of British, Payload and Brace Yourself and have taken them to Spain as headling acts. Check their radio shows every two weeks Saturday 6-8pm on Breaks FM and every Friday 3-5pm alongside the Breakfastaz on Pyrotechnic Radio
