Pearce van der Merwe and Daniel Symons decided to create the duo Cosmosophy after years of performing, writing and recording music together.

Their other collaborations include their solo albums Flooting Grooves - Upsyde Downe and Dymons - Druids Brew, they are also both members of the band The Peaking Goddess Collective who released their first album Peaking Goddess Collective, The - Organika in 2007.
