Initially a member of Welsh band Moonloonies, Crum joined Hawkwind in 1988 following the departure of Harvey Bainbridge and co-wrote the "Dave Brock And The Agents Of Chaos" album. He left the band again in 1989, rejoining the Moonloonies but rejoined Hawkwind temporarily on tour in 1997. He currently resides once more in Moonloonies.
