Cruz

Cruz is a Swiss DJ & producer since 1991, but took it's time to release this first 4-track ep on Morris Audio Citysport Edition. He got infected with the minimal-virus by Mike Ink.'s Studio 1 Series in 1996.
Before and after producing all kind of electronic, loop-based music, such as hiphop, triphop, d'n'b and the wide area of techno and house, but always with an extra touch of funk. Cruz is also co-founder and member of the dj-& studio-network Subkutan.net and so collaborating with different other artists & networks like "Club Hardware", "Kriminal Konga", "Jurasüdfuss", "Ski Suisse" a.o. main-inspirations over the last 15 years: minimal Miles Davis, shaky Ringo Starr for the beats, John Lennon for the message & the children's songs, Neverending Fela, Solaar for the lyrics, Etta James for the voice, Stereo Mc's for the deepness, Celentano for the smile and all the other brilliant motherfuckers!
