Cyberaktif

  / artists (C)
Profile:Cyberaktif was a collaboration between Bill Leeb, Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel. During the heyday of Waxtrax during the early 90's many fans wrote in saying how good it would be to see what would have happened to Skinny Puppy if Bill stayed in the band. Basically Wax Trax paid for the whole project, they paid Leeb and Goettel and Key and gave them use of their studios to produce the album which then appeared on Wax Trax. Bill went under his Skinny Puppy pseudonym "Wilhelm Schroeder" and they recorded one album together and 2 singles. There are no plans for any more.

User Reviews:

Cyberdeath, Aug 24, 2005

The first time that I listened Cyberaktif was with the insane single Temper. From Vancouver, Canada arrives this project integrated by the genius Bill Leeb of Front Line Assembly and for the masters Cevin Key, Rudolph Goettel and Wilhelm Schroeder of Skinny Puppy; it's also important to mention the participation of Blixa Bargeld of the German group Einstürzende Neubauten in some of the tracks.

Temper is extracted from the LP Tenebrae Vision 1990, the company Wax Trax! Records of Chicago is the responsible for this authentic work of Cyberpunk.
