Electro/Techno DJ & producer from Paris, France.
From 1992, D'Jedi performed in the very first Parisian raves: Mozinor, Osiris, Cosmos Factory...
D'Jedi began to organize regular parties in 1993: he was part of the Mentasm crew alongside Laurent and Chaotik Ramses (both founders of the D-Mention festival). From 1996 to 2001, he drove the famous
EL.UE private parties, gathering the techno heads of Paris for unforgettable nights. With the parties growing bigger and bigger, he has helped many bedroom DJ's by giving them a chance to play for a wild and happy audience. Thanks to
EL.UE, most of them are now part of the Parisian scene.
The adventure continues today under a new party name:
Play.
Former
EL.UE fans and newcomers had the chance to hear many international DJ's such as
Frank Müller, Percy X, Mau Mau, Tim Taylor, Vitalic, The Hacker, Scan X, Paul Nazca and many others ...
Juggling between many occupations, Antoine also began producing in 1995... In 1999, he launched the label
Calme Records with Virginie and Yann, both former members of
EL.UE. French artists such as Scan X, Paul Nazca, Ultracolor, Chaotik Ramses, Lab Insect, Mannix, l'Ange Gabriel, Axel, the young and talented Drake Dehlen had their tracks on the first releases.
He produces his own tracks under the name D'Jedi and has several duo projects:
Alpha Layer with Markassin,
Ghost Dancers with Drake Dehlen, and
Stereotrap with Pascal Morel.
In 2000, he learned the basics of sound design and works for two advertising films for NRJ Radio and Skin, a fragrance from Tussardi. The year after, he wrote soundtracks for two movies: Frogz by Guillaume Tunzini and H.K, a movie about martial arts.
His new Electro/Pop project,
Preston Park, will be finished in the early 2004.
In 2006, he founded a new label
Skryptöm Records, influenced by new Electro/Techno/Minimal musical current.
