1983 : London -talked his way into 1st "real" DJ job at yuppie & Arab club STOCKS on the Kings Road.
1985 : main resident DJ & promoter at LIMELIGHT London.
1988 : short dj'ing residency at Mars NYC.
1989 : moved to NYC & had DJing residencies in the city's hottest clubs MARS, MK, PALLADIUM & RED ZONE, not earning enough cash to live on, so started throwing illegal warehouse parties - DEEP.
1990 : given A&R position at PROFILE RECORDS to produce the BEST OF TECHNO & BEST OF HOUSE compilations.
1991 : started throwing BRILLIANT first pure UK style rave party in NYC.
1992 : launched the club night NASA. Featured in Larry Clark’s film “KIDS”.
1993 : PROFILE RECORDS gives Gary Pini & DB own electronic imprint - SM:)E COMMUNICATIONS, hits include JASON NEVINS V'S RUN DMC, 4 million singles sold, the record goes to # 1 in 17 countries.
1994 : DB releases The History Of Our World. 1st Drum & Bass Mix CD in U.S..
Between 1994 and 2008 DB has released 13 Mix CDs selling well over one hundred thousand units.
1995 : DB suggests to his friend Paul Morris that while figuring out what to do with his life, he takes over DB's dj bookings as DB is getting lots of requests for out-of-state shows. Paul launches booking agency -www.amonly.com
1996 : DB, DJ Dara, Sean Shuter & Paul Morris open BREAKBEAT SCIENCE, first & only drum & bass record store in US, quickly spawning successful record label & clothing line.
1997 : WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS poaches DB from PROFILE & gives him and a partner their own imprint- F-111 RECORDS.
1999 : UK record label giant MINISTRY OF SOUND poaches DB from WARNER BROTHERS & makes him joint head of A&R for launch of U.S. version of label.
2002 : BREAKBEAT SCIENCE opens BBS TOKYO - art, fashion & music lifestyle shop in Shibuya (Tokyo, Japan).
2006 : starts new indie record label – DEAF DUMB & BLIND COMMUNICATIONS, artists include UK bands FUGIYA & MIYAGI and WORKING FOR A NUCLEAR FREE CITY.
2006 : hired by Paul & AM Only to do A&R for the agency.
2006 : BREAKBEAT SCIENCE flips the script & becomes lifestyle shop BBLESSING. Voted best men’s shop on many blogs www.bblessing.com
2008 : DB puts his vast knowledge of music to use & starts doing music consulting for private businesses. His "mix tapes" (iPod) are now in a private celebrity based 5th Avenue hair salon & the newest restaurant of one of the world’s most famous chefs, Daniel Bouley.
2009 : currently in the co-ordinating stages of releasing a massive art history book & a worldwide art gallery tour focusing on sticker art.
