DJ Fausto

Born from an Italian father and a talented Dutch music teacher, passion and music have always been close together since his youth. In his childhood Fausto used to travel with his parents back and forth to Italy. Therefore, his roots lie in both countries. As a boy he was blessed with an enormous amount of red hair and a firm posture, combined with his Italian temper this resulted in several disagreements with the school board and soon he started to develop himself in the creative scene. At first this resulted in modeling and even a part in a Dutch movie called 'Ciske de Rat'.At 17 he discovered partylife and soon the music got his grip. It wouldn't take long before he ended up in the first house parties in the Netherlands, around '87/'88, the so called 'Summer of Love'. The atmosphere and the enormous togetherness made such an impression that he was completely sold for the party business. His respect for the guys behind the decks grew bigger; it was them that created the vibe that made the party rock! He was determined he wanted to do the same, fascinate people with music! He soon bought his first set of decks, one with and one without pitch control, and he banged away on them. In the beginning he started with disco and hip hop, but soon this changed into house.
