DJ IQ first began DJing 4 years ago. He was first inspired by an imported video tape from the U.S about the history and foundations of how hip hop began and grew. From that moment on his hands have never left the turntables. DJ IQ’s first attempt to be involved in the British hip hop scene was a successful one when he sent a demo tape to the only dedicated hip hop radio station in London, ITCHFM. (105.15) soon after he had his own show broadcasting weekly across London and surrounding areas. His show specialises mainly in Independent hip hop and has a habit of cutting everything up… his show is every Friday 22.00 – 00.00. DJ IQ is also the under 18 DMC champion for 2002/2003, since then he has been displaying his DJ skills and rocking crowds in London, up and down the UK and throughout Europe. He is currently the official DJ for Jehst, and is touring all over the world from October 2003. He has also done cuts for Jehst’s soon to be released album ‘Falling Down’ as well as cuts for Asaviour and Tommy Evans. Whilst also occasionally DJing for Klashenkoff and Terrafirma he is also recognized for his mix tapes/cds which feature freestyles, exclusive tracks and once again, everything cut ‘the hell’ up.
