DJ Safe-P

Safe P is one of the leading and in demand Djs in Belgium since 1987 because he spins with a difference. Paul became resident for Club "Funk You" in Antwerp for 7 years and his style and skill was recognized so much that he entered the DMC mixing contests and came in 2nd place. His mixing and scratching techniques got him more residencies in Holland, Germany and France and by this time he used his skills to pursue the groove of deep funky house, which gave him the edge and produced yet another residency in his home town called the Katsu. In 1994 Safe P decided to develop his long time interest funky house tracks, his first steps into music production landed him a record deal with Groovy Records, a label of Antler/Subway and that same year Safe P became resident at "Cafe Local" the place to be in Antwerp at the time.
