I've been a fan of DJ Scud's lo-fi & hard as hell breakcore style for a good 2 years, ever since I heard his militant hyper-rave/oldskool remix of Asian Dub Foundation's Witness. One of the prime forces of raggacore (hard breaks mixed with completely crazy jumbles or ragga samples, much more insane than the average jungle record sampling one or two chatters). He walks the line between steppa d'nb and outright fucked-beat noise like no other. His collaborations with Mathis Mootz (Panacea, Rich Kid) are certainly not to be missed, and his label, Ambush, is some real quality shit.
