DJ Skar (2)

On the wheels of steel since 1995, DJ SKAR is a versatile french DJ: turntablism, hip-hop, jungle, drum'n'bass, hardcore... but also some live freestyles with Jazz bands.

He created ELECTRO-CUT with DJ TOF and BEN LARSEN.
First, to organize parties, and then to produce hardcore records.

He regards himself as a turntablist, and his most notable contribution to the DJ world is his website "easyfader", which is a base for TTM resources (Turntablist Transcription Method).
TTM has been specifically designed for notating turntable-based music (scratches and jugglings). The language provides a method for documenting the progress of the art and preserving its accomplishments.
Since 2004, DJ SKAR works with J.CARLUCCIO on the development of the method.
He made extensions on the TTM format for laser, phaser and hydroplane scratches, and some live demonstrations under the name of EASYFADER.
