2000. Berne`s Snowman fills regularly Zurich`s OXA with Mind-X meets Snowman
Trance classics party series, also going on in 2009.
He has mixed countless compilations like "Energy 98 - the nonstop live mix"

DJ Snowman aka Thomas Baira started in 98 his own label Friendship-Label. On
the sublabel Sonar, Alex-G & Fame`s released "Freedom (Green Court RX)"
(00). Snowman started as bedroom mixer in 89. 92 he started as house DJ at
Berne`s Aarebar. "New York Club" in Neuchatel, "Stufenbau" in Berne,
Kaufleuten, OXA and Energy 93 followed. He changed from house to progressive
to trance. With DJ X-Ray (now Aston Martinez) and DJ Obsession he deejayed
at Inka Imperio parties at Sandrainstrasse. 1996 he started with Mind-X
"Harem rec.". The readers of "Partysan" voted him as DJ of the year (they
would do that also in 97, 98 and 99). He played at ravaes like Evolution.
The first mix CD was with Mind-X: "The Streetparade- Mix". The Duo, from 99
known as Harem Doctors, mixed 97 the mix CDs "Friendship", "Harem Records",
"Trancesetter". In the same year he played 300 DJ sets. Goliath, Energy:
Snowman played all major raves in the 90s and 00 years. His last mix CD came
out in 07: Dreamscape

Nowadays he's just one of those "famous" swiss DJs that are residents in the biggest clubs and who play this commercial style between Trance, Progressive Trance and Hardstyle...What a pity...It's sad but I'm nostalgic of a period I haven't even known and very often, when I listen to a fast Hardtrance mix, I wonder how it is possible that Trance changed in that way...Peace!
