DJ Tarkan

Tarkan Örs was born on the 31st May 1973 in Frankfurt, Germany. His family's interest in music has played a great role on the growth of his love for music and since his early childhood, vinyls and tapes were his toys. In 1985, Tarkan moved with his family to Istanbul and continued his education, graduating from high school, and studied at Marmara University obtaining a degree as a German teacher in 1996.

His professional career started when he became a DJ on a famous radio station in Turkey and after debuting in the music scene as a radio DJ, he started to perform at one of the biggest clubs in Istanbul.

When he completed his military service, he took part at Turkey's one and only dance station, called Radio 2019 as a DJ and also as a production manager where he started making his first remixes in the studio. In 1998 he became also a music director while playing at the best clubs all around Turkey as a guest DJ. When the radio station changed its genre, DJ Tarkan started performing at Radio FG, where he still continues his unique deep, tribal and progressive sound, which is also available on the web at www.futuregeneration.net
