Tonio has become a tireless dance-floor trotter since his first attempts at Djing, when his was 14. He became at 19 a resident DJ at one of the most popular French club: An-Fer in Dijon.
With another famous DJ: Laurent Garnier, the club became one of the hypest techno club in France.
In 1997, he starts his international career, first in the US, followed by the rest of the world. He plays with such artists as Green Velvet, Luke Slater, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Colin Dale, Laurent Garnier, Jack de Marseille and Manu le Malin.
He’s ranked as one of the 10 best international DJs by the French famous music magazine "Trax" in 2000.
As for productions, Tonio releases his first 12” on the label B-Product in 1995, he releases his second 12” on the famous label F-Communications the following year collaborating with Arno, then with Torgull on the New Yorker label “Industrial Strength” (Lenny Dee’s label). In 2000, the Portugese label Boost releases his collaboration with Chaotik Ramsès and Tonio releases in 2001 a 12” with Alessandro F on the label Kobayashi.
