2003 has seen the mysterious Manchester hero and "one man dynamo" DNCN release a trio of quality leftfield remixes for labels such as Twisted Nerve, Peacefrog (remixing Jello AKA Bola's O'Verb, as played by Gilles Peterson on his Radio 1 show) and V2 (remixing the recent acclaimed 'Fallen Angel' single for Elbow). Along with his prolific on-line releases on http://www.hippocamp.net is little wonder DNCN's fresh, chunky yet hypnotic sound has also left The Music, Pedro and Moodsaver suitably impressed. Mastered at Bolamachine in Rochdale, 'Crayons' is DNCN’s long-awaited debut 12" release, and showcases his brand of sharp stripped-down percussive grooves to devastating effect.

DNCN is a great producer who is underrated and missed simply because most of his releases are on mp3 and not vinyl or cd. Download all his tracks! A great musician!! Also check out the remix he did for Jello aka Bola. Quality techno that would fit into the sounds of Narita, Basic Channel, or BassUp|TrebleDown.
