DOS (4)

Dos was formed by Mike Watt and Kira Roessler in 1985. The group's songs consist almost entirely of the duo's bass playing (and occassional vocals). Dos' output and performances have been sporadic due to the members' other priorities. The first 2 Dos records were released on vinyl (and later combined onto one CD) by New Alliance Records, a label once owned by Watt but later sold to SST Records. Roessler and Watt married in 1987 but divorced in 1994. Despite their personal split, the duo remained friends and recorded a third LP, "Justamente Tres", for the Kill Rock Stars label in 1996. A 4th LP has been in the works for a number of years.
