Damien ScallonRosemary Brown adopted the stage-name, 'Dana' from her schoolfriends, a Gaelic word meaning "mischievous".
She auditioned in 1969, for the Irish National Song Contest with a song, "Look Around", but missed the chance to represent Ireland at Eurovision, coming in at second place.
She would win the Eurovision Song Contest of 1970 with the song, "All Kinds Of Everything", on 21st March, in the Netherlands. She would go on charting a few more hits during '70s.
In recent years, Dana has become extremely religious and has recorded several Catholic music albums, as well as done TV work in the United States for the Eternal World Television Network.
