He taught himself playing guitar, bass and banjo when he was still a high school boy. He got a record deal at Capitol Records, but he thought performing was not his thing. He started engineering and took a job at Hyde Street Recording in San Francisco (CA, USA). He started producing local bands and later got a job as A&R at both Columbia Records and Warner Bros. Records, Inc.. Now he's just working as a producer since that is his first love.
