Death Metal group from Poland. A gifted group of young musicians who formed in their early teens. The band's average age during their debut album Winds Of Creation was just 17. Decapitated surprised many of their peers with their incredibly mature and forward thinking sound.
After finishing a tour for their third album The Negation in 2005, singer Sauron (3) decided to leave the group under amicable circumstances. The rest of the band members decided to recruit singer Covan, previously of Atrophia Red Sun. With their new singer in place, Decapitated released Organic Hallucinosis in 2006.
On November 2nd, 2007, while on tour in Russia, the band experienced a car accident which claimed the life of drummer Vitek, and seriously injured singer Covan.
The future of the band remains uncertain at the moment.
