Additional notes
The first band to sign onto Relapse Records, they left the label in 2003.

The band went through a jumble of names, including Mad Butcher and Evil Axe, before settling on the name Deceased.

Rob Sterzel died in a hit and run accident on March 3, 1988.
Doug Souther's brother Steve also died in the accident, along with a friend of the band, Larry Ruscio.
Another friend, Sean Lawrence, was injured.

King Fowley ran the now defunct With Your Teeth Records which released only several albums by the bands Corpus Rottus and Blacklord.
