Dee D. Jackson

Real Name:
Deirdre Elaine Cozier
Profile:
Born Deirdre Elaine Cozier in Oxford, England July 15th, 1954, Dee D. Jackson started her career in the mid 70's in Munich, Germany as a science fiction short films producer, also working in music with Giorgio Moroder and Keith Forsey. She released her first single "Man of a Man" in 1978, followed by "Automatic Lover" (also in 1978) which became a worldwide hit, reaching #4 on the british charts.

In mid 1978, she released her first album "Cosmic Curves", followed by a second album "Thunder & Lightning" at the end of 1980, but other singles failed to get the same chart success as "Automatic Lover". Dee D married and had a son and now lives in Turin, Italy, reportedly running a record label D.D.E (Divine Dance Experience), where she produces Hip Hop, Garage and Trance artists.
