Digital revived the scene in 1999 with a slew of black rave music that went against the bass light tech nonsense of the time. I can think of one other who mastered jungle then DnB - Shy FX.

I would have to say, Digital is one of the finest working Drum and Bass musicians out there today. During my psycho record buying phase which lasted from 2000 to 2003, I picked up just about everything this guy put out.
Let me tell you, I'm not an easy one to please. I need a little more in a tune then some lame distorted bassline and a two step beat that most DnB fans seem to line up for.
Digital certianly delivers the goods, raw breakbeats, phat basslines, and all those beautiful sounds from 1992. Digital doesn't just try to re-create the 'ardkore vibe but rather he reforms it into a minimal dubbed out breakbeat version of the detroit techno sound. Maybe the best way to sum up his sound is SMD#2 - Black Side, but without the clashing cords.
Heck, if my local DnB record shop hadn't closed up I would be running out to pick up his new tracks, "Square Rock" and "48X". Even though both tracks mentioned are simply remixes of older Digital tracks, they're still very good and better then the rest of the DnB coming out these days.

One of the most consistent and involving producers on the scene, and one whose heavy, dub-influenced sound maybe felt across the board: from new renegades such as Amit to the hardcore liquid funk producers. Also an essential part of Grooveriders' sound over the years, in my opinion. Favourite tracks: Deadline, Lion, Gateman; Dubzilla CD recommended.
Digital is easily the hardest working producer in the Drum N Bass scene. Putting out numerous singles and LPs a year, Digital will release more tracks in a month than some artists will in a few years. The guy has probably cranked out 10 singles and 2 EPs/LPs this year alone! On the pinnacle of D&B labels, Timeless, Digital is one of the best producers out there. His beatz all have a distinct sound, but are very versatile.
Suggested Tracks- Spacefunk, Waterhouse Dub, Red Head, Hard Ears, Rocksteady, Nightmare (Digital Remix), Skyline, Warped 2
