In the autumn of 1999 DNA, four kids from the South East Scottish suburban towns of East Lothian started making a noise. A really annoying noise that nobody particularly enjoyed.
Slapping together poorly sampled, out of time distorted beats, with equally shoddily looped random noises and heavy punky guitar riffs and the rhythmically challenged shouting of tone:def and sanXion, this was music of minimal effort, the kind of music that can take less time to make than it does to play.
