Very underrated techno duo, Serbian in origin, but producing and living in Amsterdam. The only reason I can think of why they are not more known and celebrated is that they don't DJ, only playing sporadic (but monumental) live sets. If techno is a genre that values progress and soul which doesn't lose the dancefloor then why do all the loopy tribal producers get so far when Diskordia are largely ignored. Their best EPs are on Tresor - multi layered minimal madness, but the M Track 12s are worth checking for good examples of that synth led Dutch techno sound.

I think Mario Vrbanac now lives in Barcelona, but hopefully we haven't heard the last of Diskordia.
