Guitarist, and one of the founder members of Gin Blossoms who debuted live on Christmas night 1987. He left the band in 1992, part way through the recording of the album New Miserable Experience due to bouts of depression and alcoholism. The album was a success, selling 3 million copies. Doug committed suicide in 1993.
