This is one of the multitude of aliases used by Dave Lee alias Joey Negro...and this one is apparently derived from a character named "Doug Willis" on the Australian soap opera "Neighbors". If you enjoy the disco house records of Joey Negro, Mistura, Prospect Park, Sunburst Band, etc. you'll love Doug Willis records because they have traditionally been among the strongest Dave Lee records of all! "Armed and Extremely Douglas" was released both as a single record and a somewhat scarcer double pack with a couple of very rewarding additional songs. The "Syndrum Syndrome" double pack was a favorite with Joey Negro fans in the mid nineties and features a track remixed by Robert Mello of Sensory Elements, Disco Elements, Heaven & Earth, etc.. More recent Doug Willis outings have produced songs such as "Skate Dancer" and "Dancin'
" which are staples of Zedd Records and Hed Kandi type funky house compilations.
