Drew Daniel is one half of the acclaimed electronic group Matmos. He teaches in the English Department at Johns Hopkins University, and lives in Baltimore. He wrote a book on Throbbing Gristle's 20 Jazz Funk Greats which was published in 2008 as part of the 33 1/3 series.
