Reviews & Discussion

Review by Aphex139 Apr 01, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
I know this is a bit late, but I'm really feeling Drumsound & Bassline, especially what they started doing in 2004. I've heard some of their older material, but it never made an impression on me, but as soon as I heard 'The Odyssey' on Prototype, I knew they'd come up with a killer sound. 'Humanoid' on Timeless, 'Bandsaw' on Renegade Hardware, and of course 'Tyrant', 'The Nature Of The Beast' and 'The Valley Of The Kings' projects on their own imprint, Technique, were all killing it. They still get me hyped up, and it's been a year, or even two! Unfortunately, 'Killa DJ' on Breakbeat Kaos started to show that things were getting a bit rinsed out. Nonetheless, I'm expecting good things from their upcoming 'Street Technique' project, and I'm glad they found a sound to call their own and make a mark on the drum and bass scene.
