Almost every single release has alot of noises and hisses and in my opnion a few more experimental feelings to it then old recordings from deepchord and such. From new-aged remixes to completely dubbed out old tape recordings, the work that Rod and Steve are releasing has more new-aged potential feelings to it.
The minimalist and characteristic aspects that Rod used to make together with Mike are throwen in a certain blend containing more dancable structures and more diversity in sound.

While having a very strong connection with reggea in releases like the cv313 Sonorous mix, Echospace is a unique blend between 2 producers from Detroit and Chicago that both have different musical ifluences.

Incredible how Rod Modell and Stephen Hitchell shaped the Deepchord world into something that has a certain timeless feeling to it in such a small time.
