Ed Ames (born July 9, 1927 Malden, MA) is an American popular singer and actor. He is best known for his Pop and Adult Contemporary hits of the 1960s. Originally part of a popular singing group of 1950s called Ames Brothers, The, he is also best known to television audiences as the Native American Mingo on Daniel Boone.
