Edgar Froese

Real Name:Edgar Wilmar Froese
Profile:Edgar Froese, Born on June 6th, 1944 in Tilsit, Eastern Prussia, began his musical career in 1965 with a short-lived rock group known as The Ones. After the group's disbandment in 1967, Froese then co-founded Tangerine Dream within the same year. After decades, and a myriad of compositions, Froese remains the only original member of the band.

Edgars solo works and his work with Tangerine Dream has done more to shape the sound of New Age Music than any other artist. The quality of those works has had its up ands downs but his influence on New Age Music is unmistakable.
