Edward Ball

Edward Ball

Profile:
Co-founder of Whaam! Records and Artpop Records. Best friend of Alan McGee, with whom he worked at Creation Records. Ran a short-lived Creation sublabel, named Ball Product. Regularly played live with Boo Radleys, The in the mid-90s.

Ed has worked under many aliases, over a vast array of styles and genres, most famously as The Times. Some of these aliases, such as The Times and Teenage Filmstars, started out as groups - but their names were later resurrected as solo Ed Ball projects.
